Dr. Youssef Al-Othaimeen, secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), on Sunday received Yemen鈥檚 Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak at its headquarters in Jeddah.
The meeting reviewed UN efforts to solve the Yemeni crisis, and the efforts of the country鈥檚 internationally recognized government to respond to citizens鈥� concerns and aspirations.
Al-Othaimeen and Bin Mubarak stressed the importance of the Riyadh Agreement that has fostered an adequate environment to solve several issues.
They discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen, and the OIC鈥檚 important role in alleviating the suffering of the country鈥檚 people.
Bin Mubarak praised the OIC鈥檚 support for the Yemeni people, and its important role in promoting a peaceful solution for the country鈥檚 crisis.
Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC鈥檚 support for Yemen in different fields to help achieve peace, security and stability.
